“We are a modern company and offer complete air and helium filled balloon arrangements and designs. Although we are predominantly a balloon sculpturing company, we also specialise in venue decorating and dressing. In the Manchester area current trends include the incorporation of ostrich feathers and LED light displays into sculptures and table centerpieces. We have recently started to hire out these illumination kits. It’s a completely different area of business for us, but it’s proven really popular. Hiring out electronics and lighting isn’t strictly ‘party’, but it does provide our consumers with a service they want. And it isn’t really a million miles away from the balloon decorating – it simply means people can come to us and have access to both services, and only have half the pain of organising everything! Demand has been extremely high and our business is thriving, so we are currently investing in new equipment and accessories. Customers are definitely concentrating more on the illumination and specialty linen side of their venues, and paying far more attention to detail on extravagant centrepieces. Businesses have to evolve as the market changes, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”
